This delightful looking spider remained (thankfully) on it's web on a patio for the duration of my holiday in the Algarve. I kept a close eye on it for any signs of movement!:eek!:

Is it an Orb spider? Help with an ID much appreciated.

Hi
I'm no spider expert but it looks like an Argiope and possibly trifasciata, and it is known from Portugal.
