Help with fitting Hyperion to Regal M2 80 ED? (1 Viewer)

Hi - Very new to all this, but I bought a used Baader Hyperion 17mm to try out on my Celestron Regal M2 80 ED. I feel like an idiot, but I can't quite figure out how they go together. I'm either missing a piece or something unscrews but I can't figure out what.

I attached pictures of the scope with the stock Celestron zoom removed, the Celestron and Baader eyepieces side by side, and the Baader with (i think) the 2"-to-1.25" converter unscrewed. It looks like if I can unscrew the 2" plate from the silver 1.25" part, or if I could remove the equivalent piece from the scope itself, the pieces would all fit, but neither seems to want to move.

Help! And thanks in advance!

Hi,

you take the Baader EP as shown in you 2nd image, put it into the EP hole of the M2 and twist the locking nut?

If that doesn't fit you left part of the zoom in there... screw it back in, unlock the locking nut and pull...
