I have just got back from Upton Warren reserve in Worcestershire, where I saw two Avocets and a Stonechat, both new birds for moi! I should of been writing an essay for uni but decided to pop out, so glad I did

2 new Birds are worth it. In the NE of England up until 2008 Avocets had not bred locally for 200 years. They decided to make there nest on am Industrial owned pond, thankfully this firm is very pro wildlife and wanted this momentous occasion recording. Ian [my Husband] was chosen by them to make regular visits to the area with staff to photograph them.

Here is some of the results

This year they have already arrived back in good numbers.
