Listed at 3590 euros in astroshop.

I think the price is going to stay. Since a year or so APM/Lunt release a 100mm ed binos that cant take 1.25 ep's for 3000 so Kowa seems to be forced to drop the price. And yes, they are the prominar fluorite (BL8J3) model, not the achro.

About the quoted thread and post: Kowa just dont made any astro stuff and is not a astro brand; fluorite is always welcomed but for stargazing wich are what they are mainly used for is not really that necessary. Most of astro binos are achros os just ED ... no 90 degree version, no 1.25 availability ... not with sky in mind in first place. However, nothing stops use it on sky like nothing stop using a skywatcher 80ed to spot birds or that APM binos ...

But its ironic astro competitor made Kowa reduce the price. Still they have a a tough nut to crack, the Docters Aspectem.

edit: I think the kowa zooms doesnt fit in the binos! its absurd! expensive and way heavy, but with they on it, the definitive visual machine
