Due to unforseen, but necessary, Car Repairs we have recently had to sell our treasured Swaro 80HD scope :-C
However we are looking to buy a good quality scope that we can use for both spotting and digiscoping. We started out with an entry level Opticron Scope a few years ago and liked the the quality etc.
Looking at the current Opticron Offerings I am struggling to see what the difference is between the GS 815GA ED (£440 from Kay Optical) and the ES 80GA ED v3 (£499 at Ware House Express). We would probably go for the HDF 32 w Fixed eyepiece whichever scope we choose.
Can someone let me know the difference between these two scopes and which is the 'best' in terms of IQ, build quality etc. Both appear to have the same 30 year guarantee.
Thanks,
Chris
