I am a new subscriber form Queensland Australia. I enjoy bird photography and just returned from a short stay at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat where I spent a few days tracking through the rainforest and photographing birds which is very challenging with the heavy forestation and undergrowth and low light conditions with extremely active birds that just want to hide. Nevertheless a great feeling of achievement to capture a short video and some still photos of the Alberts Lyrebird.

I look forward to learning from other forum participants.

Hello Plugger and welcome to the forum from all the Staff, looking forward to some of your photographs in the gallery, enjoy and all the best.

Hi Plugger and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about. It sounds like you had a wonderful time in O'Reilly's!!

In addition to the Gallery, we have a home for videos, too in the BFTV section, I hope you'll consider uploading it there for us to view.
