Hi folks, not a bird watcher myself, but have noticed a flock of about 100 waxwings which are feeding at Finlaystone country estate, very easy access to these as they are feeding on the berries by the tearoom and the walled garden., don't know if this will interest anyone, or are these too common to justify a visit ?. Site located near Port Glasgow, 10 mins from Glasgow airport
see website for postcode.3:) ps sorry if this is wrong forum

Thanks a lot birdiedance!!
Not to far from our place. (live in Largs)
Tomorrow where going to shop in greenock and afterwords have a walk somewhere. Finlaystone looks to me like a nice place to walk!
Hopefully they will be still around tomorrow!!

Didn't see the Waxwings on Saturday in the 3 hours that I spent in the County park.
Dipper near the A8 where the best I could find in the park.
Also a few redwings, 2 Mistle trush and 3 Treecreepers.

Thanks a lot birdiedance!!
