BTW a Little Bunting was mist-netted in far north of my country earlier this morning. It is the second record for our country. I don't know the specific procedure but some persons' names were listed as the "confirmers". In any case the little bird in the pictures looks beautiful; I wish it was more common; it is somehow neat and has warm colors.
Very nice, earlier this year I got was was thought to be the 1st Thrush Nightingale in our Kreis (county), but it turned out one was seen in the eighties as well, so it was the second record that was accepted. The good thing is, they are spreading this way and there were several other sightings around NRW later this year, so the ones that do appear aren't doomed to a lonely death.
