Hi Folks
Just changed computer and I#m looking for recommendations of software to run on a Mac - never gave it a thought that my copy of elements 7 was PC only 8-P

Is photoshop still the way to go or are there Mac progs that are better ... I could try and find my old copy of PSP at a push

Thanks John,

To be honest I've only gone to PS earlier this year so I had been using PSP (which I use at work as well) and only changed over because of all the free stuff that you get on the photo mags.

So learninga new interface won't be a problem as I'm still not familiar with this one:-O

You can try Pixelmator free for 30 days. It runs very well on the latest Mac OS. It's excellent value and is good at what it does but is very limited compared to Photoshop. It is much, much cheaper though.

I bought it for my iMac but then discovered that I was allowed to install my work copy of Photoshop on my home computer so I don't use it any longer. It could be worth a try though.
