Can or will Stock Doves mate with Collared Doves? There is a lone Stock Dove in my neighbourhood that is hanging out in the flock of collared doves who seem to want nothing to do with it. It follows them all over and repeatedly tries to mate with one collared dove.
Sorry if this is a daft question - I've never actually seen a Stock Dove around my neighbourhood before so don't know their behaviour.
