Sulphur-Bellied Flycatcher? Panama (1 Viewer)

George Edwards

Nom de plume
Any chance of a Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher for this one? Metropolitan Park in Panama City, late April. I ticked the name in my fieldguide for some reason, but then labelled all my pics Streaked Flycatcher, so this is my last chance!

Ridgely says "rare migrant" to Panama, but it does seem to have the yellowish belly (or is that just a tint of the light) and dusky chin, which apparently distinguish it from Streaked.

Looks fairly similar to the opus pic http://www.birdforum.net/opus/Sulphur-bellied_Flycatcher.

Sulphur-bellied is correct. Very broad malar, uniformly yellow underneath, white looking superciliary all look good.
