Hi Gull-people!
Again I have a cachinvolvement-feeling for the left bird. Somewhat darker iris, much black in slender bill, pale legs... Or is it just a female-type Herring?

Thanks for ideas

Structure and head streaks look good for Herring...

Perfect acceptable as a Herring Gull, can't see any Cachinnans influence in this bird I'm afraid

Well within argentatus variation. But it's hard to say how much the variation of argentatus is influenced by cachinnans

especially in your neck of the woods, petteri - i often ask myself.
but this bird looks abs. ok for silbermöwe. iris pigmentation is somewhat variable even in argentatus and there are really more cachi-like looking birds which are ID-ed as argentatus than this one.
