Where is the location for Springwatch 2014 going to be? (1 Viewer)

Does anybody know when Springwatch will be broadcast this year? I am visiting the area during 10th - 17th May and hope to call in several times throughout the week.

Springwatch is getting closer and as it looks that it's going to be at Minsmere. Anyone looking forward to the programe and getting excited about Springwatch at the RSPB's showpiece reserve.
Ian.

I see on the Minsmere blog that the BBC have been erecting temporary hides around the scrape ready to film footage for Springwatch. going down on 10th May for a week so will have a look.

I wonder when the BBC and the RSPB will officially announce that Springwatch is coming from Minsmere this year and for the next 3-4 years. We all know unofficialy that it is coming from Minsmere this year.
Ian.

We were at Leighton Moss the week after they did Autumnwatch last year [had the week booked months before] it was like people had never known Leighton Moss existed before this. People who had no idea what birds were and what made it worse for some reason they had 4 people on reception and no one as a hide guide [apart from once and even he was having trouble with some of the ids] Cars were parking all over the place and they had to put no waiting cones out. So try and avoid visiting Minsmere for a couple of weeks after as probably the same will happen.
