This was taken two weeks ago.
I always seem to not be able to focus my camera in time to grab good shots.
The bird looked to be a dark purple, around the same size as the american goldfinshes, and it even had similar flight patterns,. The song was a melodic set of warbles.
This is the best I could do, and I know it will be tough to identify from this picture, but any help to even lead me in the right direction would be great!
