Are you sure it's a bird? It sounded somewhat like a squeaky toy to me.
Of course, my birding by ear skill is nil, so the answer awaits someone with skill.

Yea, I'm pretty sure it is... I've never heard any squeaky toys make such coherent melodies |:p| It's pretty!
 
Sounds sort of like a short clip of music from a Song Sparrow followed by alarm notes. The rhythm is odd though.
