Can anyone name this plant as none of my books go into much detail on water plants. Secondy, if it's in one of your books then please tell me the title.

Alan, this is Potamogeton natans (Broad-leaved Pondweed).

I have it in my garden. Don't know if its in any of my books, its just one of the few water plants I know.

I was wrong - it is in my book. It's just that the flower/fruit head looks nothing like the drawing in my book but since comparing photos on the web it is indeed the same.
