???????????

OMG. pshute's ?'s are up from four to eight to eleven! I suspect he's beginning to think that posting to this thread is futile.

Be not discouraged, I see a Prime bin in the Vista for someone soon.

You may be reading pshute's post incorrectly. Seeing as you and I are in the northern hemisphere and pshute is in the southern hemisphere (Australia), then his message of ??????????? should translate to ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿. That gives it a whole new meaning!

I declare this week is officially Spotted Harrier week (Circus assimilis), which is officially listed in NSW as 'vulnerable'. :C :flyaway: :gn:
This is undoubtedly THE - most - beautiful - Harrier in the world. It's official. :brains: :king:
I have searched far and wide for a picture to do justice to the vision of this magnificent creature ..... none do it's beauty justice. :stuck: :-C

To commemorate the sheer divinity of this beautiful raptor, is today's - part 5 ..... Spotted Harrier Haiku sextet o:D
_____________________________________________________________

Photos just don't do justice to this beauty -

The soft smoky grey ruff, the striated chestnut facial disk, with piercing bright yellow eyes, the wild black and white '60's mod' striping (what sort of sky during the harrier's evolution must have required such a colour scheme for camouflage!),
The beautiful (I don't even know the word to describe the beauty of the rufous reddish colour!) white spotted torso, and finely freckle-fringed supermodel-like long yellow legs,
Glossy silvery slate grey upper wings, with spotted band, and golden diagonal wreath, matte rufous leading edge triangle, long jet black fingered primary feathers, etc, etc.

Aarrggh! the list goes on .... just too beautiful for pics or words !

But here's a few for you anyway ..... :t:
