Yes, the females start off a creamy white which darkens to orangey/brown with age.

Not P. pennipes but P. acutipennis.

Did wonder if there was another Platycnemis to consider. Interesting...I looked at a lot of pennipes images particularly females but none of them were so bright looking. Particularly as I saw "normal" pennipes there too I wasn't sure.

The odd coloured eyes threw me off also...
