This is a VERY tentative ID and I'd be grateful if anyone can confirm or otherwise. It came to my moth light last night in Nottingham.

Yes; male Oak Bush-cricket. Down here I'm seeing Southern Oak Bush-crickets virtually every day.

a first for me, told that they're not seem so often as they're our only truly arboreal Cricket?

They're certainly attracted to light-not only moth traps but often entering homes with windows open with a light on.
