Which Plover? Tawas City, Michigan (1 Viewer)

Found this bird on the point at Tawas Point State Park on May 23 and would like to correctly id it. It only hung around for about 5 minutes before taking flight out of view.

Piping Plovers nest in some places around the Great Lakes and are expected over Snowy in that region and on the eastern seaboard.
