My OH drew my attention to this article in the Daily Telegraph on the 21/1/2012.

Great to see that a column writer is producing their own particular views about the Grey and Red Squirrel war paths of this 'crowded' world

Makes us think other than the usual wildlife professionals of this work, particulary the lesser known people have their own point of view too. ;)

And far from being a "needless cull", greys taste really good and should be viewed as another free range, organic source of protein in an increasingly mechanised, sanitised and cruel food chain.
