Hi,

I'm a bit stumped about what dragonfly species this is, despite having gone through a list of what species can be found here. Is it the female of a species?

Seen in Bitez, near Bodrum, last week.

Thanks very much,

Any thoughts?

Thinking it could be a Red Veined Dropwing trithemis arteriosa. I also saw a red dragonfly by our pool the previous day, which could be the male.
