Birdwatching in central region of Cuba.Anyone interested? (1 Viewer)

Due to its peculiar characteristics the central region of Cuba has become a special area for bird watching. On the one hand the weather variations make possible the existence of a great variety of bird species. On the other hand this part of the country is located in a privileged position for north and southbound bird migration.

These aspects guaranteed the presence of more than 150 bird species, with 12 national endemic species, that is 57, 1% of all the endemic birds in the country.
