Hi all on installing CS every time I try to start the program the following message appears:-
"Application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000005) Click on OK to terminate the program"

Have uninstalled/re-installed several times with same outcome.

Can anyone out there help me out???

Have you installed any new programs since CS was last working OK? If so try uninstalling the new program(s) and reinstalling CS. Worth a try

Cheers

Have you checked the Adobe website? There may be a fix for it (perhaps removing a Windows Update?).

Have you tried running it with your security disabled?

Andy.

Hi Guys, installed McAfee last week and Windows Spychecker so thought conflict might be there. Had shut both down and tried uninstall/re-install of CS to no avail.

Also tried Adobe support but it was USA, rechecked tonight and managed to navigate through to UK site and eventually found the exact problem turns out to be a Sony Vaio software conflict Redirected to Vaio website downlaoded update and installed it and now have CS up and running.

So thanks for your suggestions.
