A few more warblers from Thailand (1 Viewer)

A few more photos from my Thailand-trip.

I suspect these are either Blyth's, Claudia's og Davison's Leaf Warblers - but I really can't tell them apart. 5 different individuals - all seen at the summit (in the bog) of Doi Inthanon (2560m) on March 28th 2013.

Cheers, Helge

Helge,

I'm really not sure how to separate Blyth's from Claudia's Leaf Warbler, I suspect it might just be on vocalisations, distribution and display rather than plumage differences. I'd suggest 1, 2, 4 & 5 are one or the other, wintering distribution would suggest the former but both are recorded at the site.
3 looks like a Davison's based on the undertail pattern.

Thanks Mark, you are probably right. I read in the last update to the Thai list, that warblers on lower Mountains like ex. Khao Yai are suspected to be Claudia's and not Blyth's. So probably Blyth's are only on the very high tops like Doi Inthanon.

Cheers, Helge
