‪Just saw my first Butterfly of the year, couldn't say what type it was it just flew past my window.‬

Peacock flying strongly at Brixham this morning.

Sadly, both the Iceland and Glaucous Gulls weren't flying until this afternoon, by which time we had left.

Had my first one yesterday in record warm temperatures. Only got a brief look, though. Small and orange, I'd saw maybe just smaller than a Red Admiral. Possibly one of the commas?

All last week, several Blue-spotted Arabs, one Large Salmon Arab, two Desert Bath Whites and one Painted Lady, the first three being new species for me

After 2 Red Admirals in Feb I didn't see any butterflies in March which wasn't surprising given the often dire weather. Today a delight to see 2 male Brimstones in west London.
