Would very much appreciate any pointers to reliable sites on the net or shops who sell Leupold yosemites 6x30, as I'm having a hard time myself finding any.

Check the Opticron site for Opticron Savanna 6x30. Note the model number, then contact Birdwatch Ireland and ask them to order you a pair. They're the same binoculars as the Leupold Yosemite 6x30. Hope this helps.
