anyone know the best position for a person who doas not wear glasses,is the fully out position the best,as i can't decide, which is for normal eyes, and wonder why there are 4 positions?thanks
John

Hi John,

The reason there are four positions is because everyones face is a little different. The position that is comfortable for you may be too much or too little eye relief for someone else.

The short answer for what position is best is, whatever is most comfortable for you.

Also long as you don't get blackouts (not too close) and can see the whole FOV (not too far away) then you can use whatever setting works.

Try panning your eye around the view to see if you get blackouts when the eye rotates off axis and set the eyecups to be a bit "higher" than that.

The other thing about the Zeiss eyecups is although they have stops (and if you pick a stop it's easier to reset the eyecup quickly to that right height) their design also works well for staying at intermediate points.

I have different strength prescription for my eyes so the effective ER is different so I bump up the right eyecup (my more myopic eye) a little top compensate.
