Walney Island (1 Viewer)

I managed to visit Walney today and had a great day. Could only stay for 3 hours but got a tick in the form of the Eider. They are very beautiful and hefty ducks indeed accomapnied by a call that does not match! Walney is a great place and luckily the rain held off. Had a look at the Gull colony and quite a feeling knowing they could peck, vomit and defacate all over me at any time.

Plenty of Linnets, Skylark, Meadow Pipits, Oystercatchers, Shelduck, Mallard as well as some Sedge Warblers. Not to forget the Ringed Plovers and the summer plumaged Dunlin.
