I had a large flock of Long tailed tits in the garden this morning,
I counted at least a dozen, all chattering away, made a pleasent change from the usual visitors. The bird table had been topped up, with seed and fruit yet they didnt pay any attention to it, prefering to hop around in a willow tree, do they use feeders?
or perhaps they were not hungry?

Got a little family party of LTT's here as well Steve, they are not using the feeders either just foraging in the tree tops.

Last year my brother had them on his feeders. Seem to recall it was much further into winter around January time, perhaps they are surviving quite well on what nature has to offer them at the moment maybe we'll get them on our feeders later on when food becomes more scarse??

I love LTT's, they are such beautiful little birds a delight to have around!!
