2 Moths for Id Chelmsford Essex

Hello again,
I would love an Id on these two moths (At least I think the first is a moth). Sorry about the quality of the photos, they are quite old photos taken withmy old camera.
I tried to Id the moths my self but I didnt know where to start on http://ukmoths.org.uk/systematic.php

The firsts appears to be a Pyrausta purpuralis, I'll have to pass on the second one

I assume the second was taken in the autumn/winter, as its a dark form of Mottled Umber.

Correct, It was taken in the winter. (Sorry, I should have said that in the thread earlier)
