Hi all,
Norwegian Broadcasting has become rather famous (or maybe infamous) for its "slow tv" stunts. One was "national knitting night" - a whole night of watching people knit. Another was 24 hours of chopping wood, stacking wood, building a fire, then watching it burn down. There was also a week-long 24-hour-per-day, minute by minute show of the coastal express sailing from Bergen to Kirkenes. And for years now they've had a summer program of live bird cams. This year's bird cams are on Hornøya (Horn Island). It's a protected nesting site for thousands of sea birds. I've only watched a few minutes so far and seen Herring Gulls, Cormorants, Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Razorbills and Puffins. It's midnight sun season up there now, so you can tune in any time of day and see bird nesting action in natural light. On line at https://www.nrk.no/piip/.
