The obvious missing birds were Teal, Pochard and Med Gull (all present in the week) and Goldcrest. The day had the "feel" of a large raptor but there wasnt even a sniff despite much sky-gazing.

Equally important to the list of birds was the craic on the day with at least 7 different cakes strategically deployed (top marks to Rob and Claire for their baking efforts) and the useful rounds of bacon sarnies. Many thanks to all those who participated, including (I have probably forgotten several): Mike Wh, Mike Wa, John B, John R, Stuart, Paul C, Paul A, Dave W, Dave J, Wayne, Gert, Neil, Graham & Alastair, Des, Phil W, Peter, Terry & Rosemary, Ian & Claire, Phil & Margaret, Jared, Simon, Rob, Chris, Tracey, Gary, Tim & Mary, Daniel, Andy, Glenn, Gavin, Trevor and Paul R.

The 2013 annual reports are now distributed to Rob E and John B to sell on (copy put aside for you Craig :t:) - if anyone wants any back copies we will see if we have then in Mike's reserve; if not I will print off a small run.

Great effort as always Uptoneers! :t::t:B :)B :)
