T-ring adapter has a bit of play (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I have recently begun digiscoping with a Swarovski Scope, an 800mm adapter, and a t-ring mount for my canon 7D. The rig seems to work well and be solid, but I am noticing a bit of 'wiggle' with the t-ring itself on the lens mount.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there certain manufacturers that are closer to Canon lens specs that might make for a more snug fit? The ring itself is stamped with "for Canon AF Japan" but doesn't show a manufacturer name. I purchased it with the rest fo the rig from a very solid optics retailer in the US, and am wondering if that is just life, a specific make that is known to be off, or the one bad apple in the batch.

In any event I am enjoying the range and challenge of building a new photography skill set.

There are three screws around the outside edge of the T-ring that the hold the inner portion in place. Try tightening them and see if it helps. The screws are very small - like eyeglasses screw small. My T-ring had the same problem. At one point the adapter and scope actually seperated from the camera! As a result, the camera strap is always on my shoulder and the scope is always in my hand so that if they ever come apart nothing is going to hit the ground.
