Warbler(?) - Greece (1 Viewer)

Hi,


Here is what I believe is a Warbler from the Sylvia genus. Could it be a Lesser Whitethroat?

I need to ask you experts for help...

It is a lesser whitethroat

It's definitely not a Lesser Whitethroat. Possibly Subalpine Warbler, although these Sylvia warblers can be tricky. It's too pale for a Lesser Whitethroat, particularly on the ear coverts.

Had an another look and thinking i am wrong on this am viewing on my phone though , will get on computer and get better look

1st winter Subalpine, you can make out the pale moustachal stripe, peach wash to the flanks & dark central tail feathers...

Certainly a Subalpine Warbler.
