Hi all,

Whilst watching a black tern at Rainham Marshes these two waders flew past. The first photograph shows them flying past some mallards to give a sense of their size. The second photograph is a heavily cropped image of one of the two waders, which shows the plumage slightly better.

I know they are terrible photographs, but I was wondering if they might be enough for some people to identify?

I'd say they were Ruff

I'd say Ruff too - especially on the cropped image I think there's no doubt.....
