Putting recent advice into action, I checked Pale-chanting Goshawk on Google and I think these are very distant shots of 2 such birds but can anyone confirm this please....just in case they are Gymogene!. Taken in Shamwari, east of Pt Elizabeth 2 weeks ago.

Certainly not Gymnogene.

Would agree it is one of the 'Chanting' Goshawks but not sure which one without checking the literature.

Dark-chanting does not occur as far south as Pt Elizabeth area according to Sasol so if not Gymogene, it must be Pale-chanting I presume. Thank you for all help.
