1) Black-throated Sparrow
2) Brewer's Blackbird
3) Brown Pelican
4) Great-tailed Grackle (could be Boat-tailed, depends on location)

Agree with Andy.

That pelican looks like the Pacific/California variety and the other birds are common in the west too.
