Southeastern Va Bird ID

Hi, I haven't been able to figure out what this beautiful songbird is. But after some heated confrontations over a nest box with my bluebirds, they've settled into another box I put out for them. They have very appealing vocals. I just don't know what species they are. Thanks!

Welcome! Yes, they are Tree Swallows. Around here, Tree Swallows, along with House Sparrows and House Wrens are the main competition with Eastern Bluebirds for nest boxes.

Ah, thank you so much! Guess I should have known they were Swallows. It's just that this pair has so much more blue on their heads and wings than I'm used to seeing.
I was a little concerned that they would run off my bluebirds (can't have that!). But all is good now and both pairs are nesting peacefully!
Thanks, again!
