Possible Nighthawk or Chimey Swift or IDK? (1 Viewer)

Tricky, but certainly not swift or nighthawk; wings much too broad for either. Some sort of hawk or falcon, but hard to see anything of the plumage at all. Based on the projecting head, I would guess Cooper's Hawk in "glide mode."

Much less likely (but possible at this time of year?) but could it be a Mississippi kite? The wings look long and narrow and the tail looks dark. Both could easily be effects of the photo and/or my imagination of course...
