Hybrid Duck UK (1 Viewer)

Certainly looks like there is Gadwall in it... possibly not Wigeon though. The most similar one online that I can find is the one from Colorado about halfway down this page: http://birdhybrids.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/gadwall-x-mallard.html which is quite different from the other Gadwall x Mallards there (though it is a variable combination - I wonder if that one is a backcross i.e. 3/4 Gadwall and only 1/4 Mallard?), but Gadwall x Pintail is also somewhat similar: http://birdhybrids.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/gadwall-x-northern-pintail.html

Gadwall x Wigeon seems to have a quite different head: http://birdhybrids.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/gadwall-x-eurasian-wigeon.html

Isn´t that the same Red-creasted Pochard x Northern Pintail (from Slimbridge I think?), that has been at BF already a few times?
Yes it is... I didn't realise it had been on here... I never thought to ask the staff.. I forgot I took a photo of it.. So I decided to ask members on BF what they thought it was.. Cheers.. Thank you all for your help.. It's interesting to seem odd looking hybrids posted on the links you all provided...
