My best guess is a Stilt Sandpiper in winter plumage.

Definitely larger than a lesser yellowlegs.

Def a Willet

My guide (Birds of NA - Kaufman) shows a slightly "drooped tip" for the Stilt Sandpiper and my second picture shows this.

Does the Willet also have this bill feature?

The Stilt sand is smaller than the Lesser Yellowlegs you referred to in your opening Post;the drooped tip looks like a water droplet.
