This is the only photo I got before the bird flew away. The photo was taken in eastern Pennsylvania on Apr 20th.

This is the last unknown photo of the 1800+ photos I took on a trip last month. It's time to go out and get some more.

Brown-Headed Cowbird Adult Female.
If you have a field guide, consult it to see that I'm right! I'm 100% sure it's a Brown-Headed Cowbird.
 
Yep, indeed, you're right. Here are three hints for people who wonder why (compared to related species; cowbirds, blackbirds etc.):

1) Rather uni-coloured brown-grey overall.
2) Short, conical dark bill.
3) Eye dark.
