Florida Flycatcher (1 Viewer)

Hello, I am fairly sure this a Great Crested Flycatcher. Is it possible to identify if it was a rare flycatcher without a recorded vocalization?

Yes, a Great Crested Flycatcher. It is common throughout Florida in summer and migration, and uncommon in south Florida in winter. Although vocalizations help with flycatcher identifications, for msot cases it is not necessary to hear them if you get a good look. For a few cases, however (Tropical vs Couch's Kingbird, Willow vs, Alder Fly, Pacific-slope vs. Coredilleran Fly) it is often necessary to hear them as well.
