1 'marsh tern', was noted early morning today, which I would have expected to be a Black Tern,.... but....it did appear to be showing much paler/whiter undersides, and was also much paler above, than I would have expected from a Black Tern.........is it too early/late for a White Winged Black Tern, to be passing through?

Not too early but far less likely though not impossible of course.

Thanks Andy........

It just wasn't right for a Black Tern...........by that, I don't just mean it's overall colouration, but also, that it's 'jizz' wasn't right.......for example, I thought that it's flight style was much livelier, than I'm used to seeing from a Black Tern.
