This young frog was found in western Switzerland where both species are present, body is maybe 4 centimeters long, I suppose it's born in 2017 ?

Is there a way to know which one it is ?

With many European Frogs, you need an in hand exam, often the formation of the back feet is important so I doubt that anyone will be able to do this one.

Thanks, that's what I was told, invasive species Pelophylax most likely P. ridibundus (although I see some call it Rana ridibunda...

Is there any recommendation about what to do with it ? It's a private pond, but I'm vegetarian... I asked local specialists, they didn't answer that question. They spotted Common frogs last year in that same pond, I have seen a toad before that. If no recommendation I'll leave it there if found again.

New one, much bigger, same location It was on the bottom, caught when I wanted to remove some organic matter with a net. Jumped back in the water before I manage to have a look under the feet....
