Nocturnal Bird Call -Michigan (1 Viewer)

About 10:00 last night I heard a bird I wasn't sure of. If you've heard the "trill" of an Eastern Screech Owl, what I heard was of the same pitch. it was a short "Hooo", that lasted about one second. It was just a single hoot, not several put together into a song. Owl? Cockoo? I'm not really sure if it's identifiable, but if it is I'd appreciate your opinion.
