It is in fact an Eastern Western Jackdaw Coloeus monedula soemmeringii

Hope that's not too confusing.

To a British birder, Jackdaws in Turkey are well worth a second glance, since they are quite different to the ones we get here. Unfortunately the striking silvery patch on the side of the neck isn't clearly shown on your photograph.
