Bird Ringing - Nightjars (1 Viewer)

I am at University, and I am currently writing a report on Nightjars, I was wondering if someone could tell me please what sort of net is used to catch them for ringing? Is it a mist net or something else?
Thank you in advance.
Anna.

I remember reading somewhere that the technique is to place a white cloth in the mist-net, which attracts them in to be caught.

Thank you Tom and Mari, all of the information you have given will be able to go into my assignment, if that's ok with you? x
