Accipiter, Point Reyes, California

I saw this guy the 23rd of September in Point Reyes national seashore, California. I only got these blurry pics through a telescope before it flew away. I assumed this'd probably be unidentifiable but just in case it's not.. If anyone can tell me what it is that'd be greatly appreciated.

Tough photos, tail looks 'squarish' so I guess Sharp-shinned Hawk?

coopers, on contrasting blackish crown, rounded tail corners and broad white terminal band on tail.

My first thought was Sharp-shinned, but then I looked at the first picture in detail. Legs look thick and black "cap" is a great field mark. Cooper's for me, too.

Cooper's for me with that darker cap
